scoring free cell is easier than you thing. 1. only count the first time they see the game. cant reset or chose game number. 2. score the game after played 100-1000 times by different people. 3. look for where 2 minutes falls, or another arbitrary time, on the scale of best times. 1-3 3-5 6-8 9-10 the lower the number the harder the game is. another way to add points is least amount of moves. you could even let each game score it's self as not compared to other games depending on the algorithm you build. in comparing games the time is the most important factor.

another thought on building algorithm for scoring. the column the player starts the game predetermines the number of moves and how fast the game can be played. i did notice that the cards can be laid out like a prime number which can be solved one way. the best game i ever played took about 3 months to solve. i was a newbie to moderate player at the time. never forgot the game, but i did forget the game number.
