    I did it, but I can't tell you how I did it. Blind luck and superstition probably. I did work on it on two different occasions and was able to win on the second occasion.

    Hi @Toska not all are solvable, according to google there is a less than 10% chance of winning at Forty Thieves. You might find an earlier forum discussion helpful where greenfelters discuss their strategies for the game:

    Another thing (helpful to me) is that going backward in discard pile is as important as going forward. Not necessary to look "back" every card, but keep it in mind as you play. The first time I managed to go back, back, back, and realized I might use up the discard pile and win, I was astounded! How did this happen!?! (That was after months of practice, practice.)
