Please describe the problem in as much detail as possible:
Using iPad a blue rectangle shows up over game and I have to touch an area outside the blue shade to make it go. Away, but it returns in a very short time

That’s a selection rectangle, like for copying text. It generally results from long-tapping, especially when followed by a swipe. One way to clear it is to reload the page, which of course also restarts the game.
