I appreciate this game site to play klondike. It has the features I really like. However, I am not sure why this Game Restore has been added. Is there a way I can turn this off? It is jarring to open the game and be slammed by huge letters coming at me.
I totally agree with you about the Game Restore notice, it's horrible when it comes on. Hopefully somebody can let us know how to get rid of it

Please make the GR optional.
The idea behind "game restored" is fine. I like that option, but the implementation is a little over the top. A more discreet notification might be better or the "optional" feature would be nice.
Yes, making the GR optional would be the best choice. I never would of chosen it in the first place, so for it to come on so suddenly is slightly over the top invasive!

This is what works for me. When I want to leave a game that is partially completed I request "new game" . Then exit. When you return to the game there is no" game restored" silent blare! Just carry on playing this wonderful site. Jim and David many thanks for making sure my days start off with the joy of playing among friends
I think Jim or David said it's the "Give Up" button that keeps it from triggering the "Game Restored".
